The first time I saw the movie with Eddie Murphy and Owen Wilson, I laughed out loud and could not stop laughing. I loved how the characters were so relatable, and I was very interested in what the two were going to do next. This movie isn’t perfect, but it is a fun ride and is definitely worth watching. I was not expecting to be so entertained, and I didn’t expect to laugh so hard.
As the story unfolds, we watch as Gwen grows closer to Eddie and his fellow addicts, and we learn more about their past. When a former lover, Jasper, shows up unannounced, Gwen tries to stop him from harming her, but Jasper lashes out and pushes and shoves her into a wall. As Gwen and Eddie struggle to get back together, she finally gets the courage to confront her father and ask for forgiveness.
The movie begins with a mugging scene that is hilarious when Murphy are in a confined space. They are able to escape and the mugging scene is very funny. The main characters are very good at acting in these roles, so you will love watching this movie with Eddie and Owen Wilson. So go ahead and give it a try. You won’t regret it. You’ll love it.
